Greetings friends! My name is Stanley and I was born and raised between the shores of Hawaii and the vibrant communities of Southern California. With Southeast Asian roots, my childhood was filled with flavors that danced between sweet, savory, bitter, spicy, and complex. From tropical fruits and herbs to fragrant spices, these early memories continue to inspire the cocktails we craft today.
My path began not behind a bar, but in the kitchen. With a deep passion for culinary arts, I had the opportunity to apprentice, on and off, for seven years in a traditional kaiseki restaurant in Nagoya, Japan. There, I painstakingly learned the art of balance, presentation, and honoring ingredients. That same philosophy now flows into every cocktail we create, elevating the glass into a somewhat culinary experience.
What makes our cocktails different? We lean into the unexpected. I enjoy bringing funky, savory, and innovative twists to classic recipes by infusing them with the flavors of my upbringing and travels. Think tropical meets umami, comforting yet adventurous, familiar but with a spark of surprise.
